This particular bush is about nine feet high and some five feet wide and as can be noted in the photo is currently producing orange flowers resembling small, carnation looking flowers to some degree (location - central Arkansas). The flowers are about two-inches wide or so. Can anyone shed any light as to the identification of the bush?

    Thanks....

Thanks "mayormullet" for your reply. Indeed, it seems your ID fits this little critter.
