In The Garden: Ferny looking plant

    Looks sort of like a fern but not. Dime for scale.

    Probably a carrot family weed of the general character of poison hemlock - but not exactly that one.

    Can I make suggestions and the experts shoot them down if they're wrong?

    Could it be Anthriscus sylvestris?

    Not listed as growing in the wild, as I understand. That doesn't mean the plant can't be growing in the garden, if someone for some reason planted it there?

    How about Phacelia tanacetifolia?

    Yeah there's lacy phacelia all around it that we planted as a cover crop experiment, but I'm talking about the larger plant in the middle. It's obviously different from the lacy phacelia.
