    Hello,

Here is a red plant growing in large carpets in many places of the Falkland Island.
Sorry, the definition of my picture is not very good.

Does someone knows its name ?
    Thank you

I lean toward it being a Rumex, because of size, habitat and what can be seen of the fruiting head, but I'm so unfamiliar with the flora that it might be something entirely different.

Here is a list of Vascular Plants of the Falkland Islands. Process of elimination maybe?

Thank you Daniel for your help,

I think it looks like Rumex acetosella (sheep's sorrel)
Petite oseille or Vinette in french
    Cheers
