I bought this recently. They say it's E. ferox, but it doesn't look like it to me. Can anyone verify for me? Thanx

Hmm.. seems to be close to the Euphorbia ferox I can find on one of the image searches. What strikes you as possibly wrong with the ID? I'm admittedly no expert when it comes to this large genus.

Thanks for the feedback Daniel. The skin is just so much smoother than any pics I've seen, and not nearly as many thorns. It's the first time I've seen one of these, and it was the only one where I picked it up, so I was uncertain as to the reliability of their id.

    Looks similar to E.enopla.

Thanks for that direction. It much more closely resembles E. enopla, but seems much fatter than any pics I've been able to come across. I see there are two varieties, var. enopla and var. viridis, but I haven't yet been able to compare the 2. Seems like E. enopla is the most likely.
