eggs on fern

    Not really a plant id question. The plant is a fern of some sort I guess. I'm wondering what the things attached to the underside of the leaves are. Insect eggs? Amazingly orderly.

    Sori. I entertained the thought that they were spores of some sort for < 1 second, but dismissed it. I'm mostly focused on fungi.
