We moved into a new house in Tennessee 2 months ago and I woke up yesterday to find this beautiful HUGE deep pink flower. This morning there was another that bloomed and I am expecting lots more. We've done absolutely nothing to cultivate it. I'd love to know the name of it and maybe plant more!

It is a hibiscus. It looks like a variety of hardy hibiscus to me. The flowers will only last one day (but they get lots of flowers). It will die down (go dormant). late in the fall and come back next summer. You can root tip cuttings from it, or if it has seeds plant them. Some varieties don't produce seeds. Lord Baltimore, a briliant red hibiscus is sterile. You must take cuttings to reproduce that one.

Luna Hibiscus. Mine flowered last year and then I lost it over winter.
