I take care of the lawn at a five acre property on the south shore of Deer Lake in Burnaby with a creek running through it. I don't know the name of the creek, but I think it's the same one that runs through the back yards of houses on Brantford Avenue in the upper portions that are not under ground.

There is an incredible diversity of plants in this yard and along the creek behind the house. Most are native plants and some are non native, with some invasive ones including Bohemian Knotweed, Scots Broom, Impatiens, Himalayan Blackberry and Ivy.

I know what most of the plants and trees are, but here are three that I don't know the names of. All are growing along the creek.

Thanks for any help identifying them. I'm glad there are so many knowledgeable people and the U.B.C Forum to help people with their gardening questions.

#3. I thought first something from Saxifragaceae, but they do not have such crossed venation of the leaves.

Here's a MAP with creek names. The "St." of Oakland St is on Brantford Ave. It looks like it would be Flume Creek.
    Here's another MAP.
