daisy-like plant ID needed

My sister got this as a gift. I can't quite identify it, and need a bit of help. Looks sort of like a mum or something daisy-like. What conditions does it need? Also, why are the flowers fading? Thanks.

 

Rudbeckia, maybe? The flowers are likely fading because that's part of their natural life cycle.

The leaves look like those from a Chrysanthemum.

 

I knew I was on the right track - thanks! Any way of narrowing it down? I can't really argue with Rudbeckia either, though.

 

I agree with Silver Surfer, the leaves are of Chrysanthemum. Try to rub the leaves with fingers and smell it. Chrysanthemum leaves have a very distinctive strong smell. I cannot describe it, but once you smell it, you will never be in doubt.

 

yes they are chrysanthemum i have had once such type of flowers but on Blue colour. THey are beautiful. Aren't they?
