Cuban Pink Fibre-Optic Flower

So, we went to Cuba, and found this most AMAZING flower! Any idea what it is called? They are flowers from a giant tree that has acorn type seed pods too...

 

Looks like Calliandra haematocephala.

Pseudobombax species has subtending bud scales which Calliandra lacks.
