? crabapples

    Also shot in the Iona waste water treatment plant this morning.
    I was shooting Lincoln's sparrows which foraged among the
    orange fruits, size about 1 to 1.5 inches.

    These do look like crab apples, but not the native Pacific Crab Apple. There seem to be a number of cultivated yellow crab apples that look similar.

    Thanks a lot. I do have a hard time IDing these "crap" apples.
