Could this be... poison sumac?

    Trying to identify this plant in our back yard. It's growing upright in a few locations that are very moist (standing water) after a rain.

    Some of the new growth at the top is darker in color. All of the identification guides I've seen indicate color is a key factor for poison sumac determination, but unfortunately I'm color blind so that doesn't help me much. =)

    I found it on a trip back to the shed to locate a misplaced propane tank... as you can see, I found the tank, but was hesitant to remove it.

    Any help in identification would be greatly appreciated!

    looks like an ash tree.
