Please can someone help to name this.
I believe the seed pod belongs to the plant...in pic 1 it can be seen below the flowers.
    See in Monteverde cloud forest

I have the book "Field Guide to Plants of Costa Rica"...also online.
I never gave Podandrogyne a second glance.

A Field Guide to Plants of Costa Rica

There only seems to be one in Costa Rica ....Podandrogyne decipiens.
    So much seems to match.
Never in a million years would I have thought this was a relation to Cleome.

What a shame I didn't manage to see a flower showing the stigma /stamens...it might have been so much easier.

Your expert help is much appreciated.
    Thank you Tyrlych
