We had a Pink Dogwood that we dug up in the early spring as we believe that it was dying. We potted it up into a large nusery pot and have been nursing it in our TLC bed. The roots still looked good, but they had not grown alot since planting (soil below very gravely and dry). We though that we had been watering it enough. I had posted a thread some time ago in regard to this tree. Just wanted to see if it was going to die or whether it would survive. So far it has been growing, but from the base. It looks to be above the graft. Wondering if the leaf spot &/or twig blight lives in the soil?
