Identification: Conifer from Brazil for ID please

I found this large conifer growing in the garden of a Brazilian friend who lives in a rain forest area around Paraty..

Araucaria columnaris. Native to New Caledonia, extensively cultivated in subtropical regions around the world.

 

Leaning Tower of Pisa aspect seems to be typical for this one. I have seen numbers of it in Hawaii.

 

Thanks a lot Michael! I was surprised to see a conifer growing in a steamy hot rainforest environment, I haven't seen any in the wild in that area..
