Hello, this plant is invading a lawn of Bermuda (Cynodon dactylon) to the south of the province of Cádiz (Andalusia). 3 images are of the plant on the lawn and 2 of it alone, in one of the images I have placed the scale of 1 cm so that you can perceive its size. The internodes are approximately 2 cm long.

It is of a small size, if viewed from afar, the distribution on the lawn may look like kyllinga (photos 1, 2 and 3) but when approaching you can pull a point and lift the whole rhizome (photos 4 and 5).

It is similar to Kikuyu but in small, although it does not have hairiness, inflorescences have never been reached because the cutting frequency is high.

    Thanks greetings

Maybe leave a small patch marked by a flag to grow and get to inflorescence stage? That'll make it somewhat easier to identify.
