Could this plant belong to one of the following genera: Moehringia; Minuartia; Moenchia, Sagina or Cerastium. I am having great difficulty identifying the genus. If a member could identify the genus, perhaps he could also give an ID to the species. Thank you.

Have you thought of Arenaria grandiflora?

Thank you for your suggestion. Have checked on all Arenaria sp. for my region but none of the sp. have foliage like that depicted in my photographs. Moehringia e Minuartia seem to be the only possibilities. Further investigation is warranted.

    Identified as Minuartia verna.
