Hi. Does anyone know the specific name of this flower? It randomly grew in my garden this year. It resembles a carnation, but is much bigger than store bought ones and seems to have lacy petals. Thanks.

This cultivar of opium poppy is common here. Like other selections of this species it often reproduces true from seed.
