This plant started growing in my San Francisco postage stamp size front yard this spring. The closest likeness I've found on-line is Yellow Skunk Cabbage, but my plant has a green flower with an orange stamen (?). Now the plant's leaves are wilting and it has sent up two fruits (?) the first one of which is now looking like berries and turning red. I've attached photos of the leaf, flower and fruit. I hope someone has an answer because it's been driving me crazy.

Thank you for answering so quickly. I now see that many Californians are trying to get rid of it, but I'm happy if it takes over. I think it's the Italicum.
