In The Garden: Can you help me identify this?

I found a vine growing on our back fence with strange fruit growing on it. I have small children and I do not want them to ingest it. Can you help me identify it? I'm going to remove it when I do some yardwork in a few days.
If my Memaw were still alive she could tell me in a heartbeat. She loved plants.
