Specimen being asked about appears in these pictures to have branching and leaf characteristics of L. japonicum. Viewing the tree in person it would likely soon become apparent which it was.

"Lvs. 4-6 in. long, acuminate: tube of corolla equalling lobes...L. lucidum"

"Lvs. 3-4 in. long, short-acuminate to nearly obtuse; tube of corolla slightly longer than lobes...L. japonicum"

The other sounds right, but it sure bears slight similarity to the appearance of Benjamin fig in the leaf and twig images - the size of the leaves and the slight curl.

It's been so long since I had one of those Ficus at home - I forgot if the leaves are opposite or alternate. My guess is alternate.
