Hi, new here. I joined because I have just moved in December to a house that was vacant for more than a year. We have all four seasons here, so just this month I have been planting and finding things that were planted by previous owners. I wanted to grow some morning glories, so I dug up an area in front of the stone part of our house and put fresh potting soil down. Put the seeds in, and that has been one week ago. Now? I have strange plants growing from that area that look like the attached drawing that I did. Sorry its kind of messy--I actually am an artist but its nearly three in the morning here so I'm kind of tired. Couldn't sleep so thought I'd search and find out what this plant could be. I don't think one week is enough time for the morning glories to be this big---plus, I have never seen morning glory seedlings. But these plants are four of them, in a row, about 8 inches apart from one another, which makes me doubt they are a weed. They are now about 3 or less inches in height and they are purplis at the stem, and dark green with yellow veins in the leaves. Four leaves and no more than that under those four. Any thoughts on what they could be? Thanks!
