Can anyone tell me what this is?!!!

    I found this while on a Science walk with my class. I've never seen anything like it before. Can anyone tell me what it is called. It looks so unusual!

    The photo is too blurred to see what it is clearly - can you get another photo, also including some leaves?

    It's an herbaceous peony with part of the petals haven fallen already. The enlarging fruit capsules in the center of the flower can be seen to the right of the remaining petals.

    Yep, agreed (except for an peculiar bit of grammar!), I can see that now.
