You have this growing in your back yard? Where are you? Aus in Namibia? It is not a cold hardy species. Its Tradescantia cerinthoides, previously known as T. blossfeldiana.
yoon you must be in or near Queensland to have that growing in your backyard. Can grow like a weed in subtropical and tropical, keep an eye on it ; ) Ed
Well I'm in NSW. So its a weed? Because its only growing and theres only 2 of them next to it... I find it kind of special in a way, by which it only have 3 at the backyard... Then, I thought its not that wild spreading so its not quite a weed?
No its not a weed. Its an ornamental but it does have weedy tendencies. Do a Google search to find more info on the plant.
Yoon if you are in NSW you should be right, but up here it grows like crazy, therefore it IS a weed here but probably not there. Good luck Ed
