Can Anyone Identify this Shrub?

    It's from my grandmother's house in Pittsburgh, Pa. It has a very strong smell in the summer. Thanks for the help!

    Possibly a dwarf Rhododendron. Pity you didn't get the pic before the flowers finished!

    Azalea kurume hybrid with evidence of lace bug attack due to the silver specks on the leaf. If you spray the foliage with pottasium sulphate once in early spring and second time late spring, you will find that the lace bug will have great trouble rasping the underside of the leaf for sap, hunger will then set in. Once they're weakened by hunger, beneficial insects will devour them
