Can anyone identify my bonsai trees please

    I am a complete novice at this and recently purchased these two trees and have no idea what they are. If anyone could identify them for me I would be most grateful!

    The first one might be Myrtus communis, Myrtle. The leaves and bark look similar to the ones sold as topiaries and labelled as such: Myrtle Topiary, BC Canada.

    Perhaps close-up photos of leaf, stem, and bark of the trees would help in their identification.

    I don't recognize the second one at all but it's good that you posted additional photos; the new leaves look much different from the older and smaller leaves. Hopefully someone else can help.
