Identification: Can anyone help identify this plant?

    Hi. Could anyone help me identify this plant? For size, it's about 7' tall. I need to move it inter-state and am wondering if it can be safely be cut shorter and regrown.

    Looks like a Norfolk Pine - Araucaria heterophylla
    My hunch is not to cut it back past any green growth - i.e. light trim ok, not a severe one.
