Last Spring, we traveled through California, mostly along the coast and saw many flowers I have not seen here at home in the Vancouver area. These particular ones were seen between Carmel and Santa Barbara . . are there California flower experts out there who can identify these?

    - re the 1st one, I am specifically wondering about the blue-green succulent growing in Carmel
    - the 2nd was one of the decorative plants in the shopping center, also in Carmel
    - the 3rd was growing just off the Big Sur Highway in a wild, uncultivated area.

And by the way .. I'm slowing down now; I have IDs for most of the plants I was wondering about.

Thanks again for your help, folks.

I think the first one might be Kalanchoe thyrsiflora. I see a reddish version of this a lot around San Diego. Wikipedia is calling it Kalanchoe tetraphylla now.
