Not sure if this is PNW or even a wildflower, but this seems like the best place to start. Friend has this poking through a fence in Calgary. Can't seem to identify it anywhere online so far. Can anybody help?

Hi, I've moved it to the broader Plant Identification forum.

This is a Ribes (gooseberries and currants). Considering it is growing in an urban area, it is possible it is a cultivated plant.

Lightening fast thanks, and I saw you moved it and I can see why! I suspect the fence must be to a neighbours garden, so it is quite possibly cultivated. I'll try and find out more.
