"Brain" shaped flower

Hello, just saw this flower at a friends funeral and was wondering if you could identify it?

The picture is attached. It looks like a red brain to me!

Are you sure? It doesn't look like the examples on the wikipedia article

(But I think it's correct botanical name is really Celosia argentea f. cristata... not just "Celosia cristata", because it's just a cultivar., not a spontaneous species... ?!)
