Dear Colleagues, unfortunately we are stumped with this ID-question: http://www.botanikaiforum.com/t5158f143-Kappad-oacute-kia-Toeroekorsz-aacute-g.html Hm, yes, the pictures are not very informativ... but I hope someone (from Turkey... :))) can help us out with the name of this little Boraginaceae (?)... Thanks: LP
Thank you! But Asperugo procumbens looks different (flowers, leaves, etc., and Asperugo has very characteristic fruits...), so I think my plant is something else, and this plant in your link is also not an Asperugo... :( http://www.botanikaiforum.com/g2091-Asperugo-L-magisz-aacute-k-A-procumbens-L-ragad-oacute-s-magisz-aacute-k.html
Thanks for introducing me to that genus, Andrey. Now I want to find a new species in it and name it Nonea business. (Sorry to derail the thread)
I've always wanted to find a new species of Iva and name it Iva bigone. And a new genus of wetland ferns related to Dryopteris and name it Wetopteris.
Well, my best idea is Anchusa strigosa yet... what do you think? But if you think this can't be an Anchusa, then I will give it to Daniel and he can describe it as a new species called Nonea business... :))) (Sorry Michael, but it is surely not a fern, so it can't be your "Wetopteris"... :)
Anchusa strigosa should have a bunch of hairs in the middle of the flower which I do not see in this photo.
