Wildflowers: Blue beauty to name

    I was looking among Dipsacaceae, where there are lots of similar forms, but did not find exact match. Maybe I was fooled again by similar appearence...
    Can somebody hint where to look, please? Thanks!

    I would say your are correct but the center doesn't look right. Here's pics of mine.
    Both flowers are Dispsacaceae. The blue one was labled as scabiosa. The burgundy was labled knautia macadonica. Neither seems to have the formal, depressed center as your pic. The plant structure does look to be the right family. barb
