Bhutanese shrub ID

    Any ideas on the identification of this shrub from Bhutan, foothills of the Himalayas. For reference, the flowers are about the size of a marble.

    Cotoneaster microphylla or close relative.

    The leaf shape might point to C. integrifolius, which is known from Bhutan and cultivated as C. microphyllus. True C. microphyllus, in the strict sense is known (wild) only from Nepal.
