There is a slight difference of opinions on this beautiful aster. I bought this as Aster x alpellus, she maintains that it is Aster tongolensis some dwarf cultivar. Plant blooms for about two weeks in June (zone 6 here in Poland) and reaches 25 cm. Easy to grow, but does not spread fast. What are the differences between two species and where to look for them?

    Regards, Barbara.
