    Hi:

I was under the impression the first photo is an arum lily and the second is a calla lily, but my flower book has arum and calla lillies as the same thing. Are they?

    Thanks,
    Michelle

Though known by these common names, they belong neither to the genus Arum or the genus Calla, but to the African genus Zantedeschia.

The first one looks like the common Z. aethiopica, the second with spotted leaves possibly a color form of Z. elliotiana or Z. albomaculata.
