I learned Azara microphylla from this plant, outside the David Hunter plant shop on West Broadway.

I'm wondering about this plant that I saw in a garden on Bainbridge Island. Is this also Azara, A. microphylla 'Variegata'?

    Yes....You are correct.

Azara microphylla and Azara microphylla Variegata are both easy to id as they seems to have an extra tiny roundish leaflet that runs on the top of the branch.
