Additional information on this pod is that it has a paper thin outer shell with black seeds inside and it ISN'T from the Okanagan but from the Vancouver area. Any ideas on what plant, tree it could be please let me know, thanks.
No, not an ash (only a single brown seed inside, not several black seeds). Sorry, don't know what it is though. A photo of the opened pod and seeds might help.
Reminds me somewhat of radish seed pods. No details on what sort of plant it is from or where the plant was growing?
Hi There...actually Mom thinks it is a type of kale. I've got it sprouted now and will know soon... hope the weather warms up some... :)
