Hi Everybody I've had this orchid for a few years now and have always been curious as to its origins etc.. It always has three leaves, one drops off as a new one appears. I live in a humid, temperate climate (Sydney, Australia) and the plant is outdoors in a sunny (nth facing), well sheltered position. It lives in pine-bark chips and has aerial roots. I water it lightly nearly every day, it flowers spring- summer, 3-7 flowers. thanks in advance blue-tongue
It's a Phalaenopsis hybrid. Impossible to know anything beyond that because there must be thousands of hybrids available. Culture information should be readily available by looking up "Phalaenopsis" on the Web.
