I saw similar red berries on this thread but wasn't sure if mine matched up. So I wanted to post to show if these were the same. I am having a photography show and I'm having trouble finding the name of these berries. They are on a tree and the photograph was taken in october so they are somewhat good in cold weather. Please help me identify these! Thanks in advance! http://i859.photobucket.com/albums/ab156/KLBONE20/of50590391.jpg
Welcome KLBone. Looks like Malus. Common name crabapple. Without leaves it is nearly impossible to say which one it may be.
Hundreds of kinds have been introduced over the years in North America. However, if this is a comparatively recent planting same kind may be present at local outlets or in a nearby labeled, publicly accessible collection. As indicated, leaves (and flowers) may need to be seen to make a match. You may just have to label the image Flowering Crabapple Tree (Malus).
