Another tree / shrub I know I know but I can't Identify

    Help please again. I know I should know this tree/shrub but it is not in my Plants of Coastal BC book and that's the area I found it in. The young bark is green with white spots. Arghhhhh .... Help????

    Not that I was able to find at this time. It was pretty young - only stood about 10 feet. The leaves are about 5 inches long with a smooth margin. The young bark is fairly smooth but very distinct with white spots all over the olive green bark. I know I have seen it before but the lack of toothed leaves is throwing me.
