I am stymied trying to identify this plant growing in the gravel at the side of a house we just purchased on Pender Island. Now, October, it is about three feet tall. The leaves are quite large. There is no evidence of flower buds or fruit. The deer have tested the lower leaves but now are leaving the plant alone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
