Hello. An annual is invading my property and I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. Can you id this? It started germinating this January. The property is on a ridge in the blue ridge mountains (VA) and it is normally quite cold in winter so not sure if germination was triggered by very warm temps we’ve had recently. I cleared a whole area of this plant but there were still many seeds in soil. Thanks for id!
I think this is one of the Speedwells, probably Ivy-leaved Speedwell Veronica hederifolia, a native of Eurasia.
Thank you so much for id! You are right…it is that one. Too bad, flowers are so pretty! But it is so invasive! Back to weeding. Thanks again.
