Looks like a plant in the Digitalis or Isoplexis sp. Yes, it's the new bi-generic hybrid that has been at all the outlets down here. Acanthus species produce quite different flowers and leaves, with the flowers coming out of bracts and the leaves usually much divided into lobes.
