#1: The vine keeps coming back from under my neighbors fence. #2:The shrub/plant does really well here and I've just never known it's name. #3: The little flower popped up lots of places, including in my vinca. It's rather small and seems to come in light purple and white. All of these are in the shade in my garden in Northern Virginia.
#1 is a wild grape (family Vitaceae) of some sort. #3 is probably a species of Iberis, or something else closely related in the family Brassicaceae.
3. The shape of the flower petals look very like the annual candytuft. Iberis umbellata. See.... http://images.google.com/imgres?img...microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7SUNA&sa=N
I apologize that my picture isn't the best, but after looking through some photos online, I agree that it is definitely Iberis umbellata or something very close to it.
