My son & daughter-in-love are moving to a house in Maple Ridge (east of 232nd) with a monkey tree in the front yard. It is tall, sparse, leaning to one side and has black tips at the top. The tree is 20 feet or so. Is this normal?? The neighbor has a monkey tree that is full and healthy looking. Is ours heading for the great Arboretum In The Sky - or does it just need some TLC???? Thanks for any info.

Post a photo or have somebody come look at it. Look for "consulting arborist", or some other moniker that indicates expertise in troubles of trees or garden plants.
