Can anyone identify this unknown tree? It has alternate buds and red twigs with white lenticels like a net across the bark. A colleague thought it could be a Tilia species. Any thoughts?
I'd wait a month or so until it has leafed out and upload some more photos. A more educated guess could be made from the leaves.
