Wildflowers: 2 from roadside, Ontario

    The first image was taken this week, there were about a dozen plants growing in standing water.

    The second two were images of a plant from May, growing in sandy soil.

    Second is something in the family Brassicaceae.

    I haven't had any luck in that area but it is a big family. The flower is a bit similar to Yellow Foxglove but the plant is different.

    The first plant has me stumped. There is a similar flower which is white called a Mimosa but otherwise quite different.

    For the first one, maybe something in the Asteraceae, like Solidago caesia or Euthamia ?
