You can pretty much spot Heracleum mantegazzianum straight away by the bristles on the young stems, as shown in this photo on my website: Heracleum mantegazzianum Photo - Royalty Free Heracleum Stock Image CFGbj14.jpg . Your plants appear to have smooth stems.
Yes, they are the North American native species and not the giant hogweed. Which has a different leaf shape and flowering habit.
