What is the name of this currently yellow flowering (in neighboring WPG garden) ground cover?
Wonder if it's available at the UBC Botanical Garden shop?
    Thx.
    Jim.

It looks like winter aconite -- Eranthis hyemalis.

One of my neighbours off Commercial has the entire front of their house planted in these, between the rock wall and the sidewalk. So cheerful, especially this year!

Most garden centres seem to have it so I bet you can get it at UBC. You can also buy bulbs in the fall.
