Tiny Violet Flowers in Southern California

    Navarretia hamata?

    Definitely looks like Navarretia, but the photos I see when I google N. hamata show a yellow center. Do you know if N. hamata sometimes has a white center?

    I browsed through all of the Navarretia photos on CalPhotos, I think there are some N. hamata that have a whiter throat (none of the other species jumped out as a better match, either). Great group of plants, but I sure hate mindlessly putting my hand on one of them when photographing.
