Purple-Blue Perennial - Please help identify

    I have been searching the web for an hour looking for this flower, but I figured I should defer to the experts. Can someone please help me with the identity of this flower (link to picture). I believe they were planted at my home by a former owner.

    It looks like an Anemone, probably A. blanda.

    Great, thanks a bunch! I have been photographing them for the intense purple-blue color and have not known what they are.
